Prepare yourself for what will be an earth moving gig... Verisma bring the last night of the proms to Devon!
Rock violinist and composer Darryl Way (Curved Air, Jethro Tull), and tenor Stephen Crook who together are Verisma will perform at the Royal Oak, Malborough near Kingsbridge South Devon on Saturday evening, the 12th November. Verisma will perform their very own LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS.
The concert will include favourites like Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory, and a selection of rock and classical gems including Verisma and Curved Air classics.

This is some information on some of the bands who play at the Royal Oak The Reds When you’re not enjoying the stupendously tasty sensation of the great Wagon Wheel, it is nice to get out and enjoy some decent live music. The Reds are a chocloately covered solid rock and roll band. If there's a bigger bite, it can't be found!
The Brindisi Prison Boys If you like crazy New Orleans music played with a bit of a punch, do not miss this spectacular band. They are a card carrying, big brass section, double bass bunch of criminals that have been let out for one night only. Do not miss this band!
The Back Door Blues Men Lead by the great Geff Horsey, on slide guitar, vocals and harmonica, The Back Door Blues Men are a rock and roll band that goes straight for the jugular... Do not miss what is going to be night to remember!!!!
Harry Hornsey Harry is a spectacular guitarist who plays some very varied music including some country blues styles, to stunning instrumentals including the theme to the God farther. At first seeming like a very gentle soul, Harry is a wolf in sheep’s clothing when he get he whips his guitar out. Do not miss this great show.
Jelly Roll In the words of David Hasselhoff, Jelly Roll is a ‘hell of a show’. Lead by Julian Piper with his spectacular blues guitar and vocal approach. He will be joined by the great jazz pianist Craig Milverton and the sensational Andy Mills on drums. Jazz and blues have never been married in such a fabulous way!
The Wildcards The Wildcards have just recently finished a world tour with The Fabulous Thunderbirds. We are very lucky enough to have the privilege of their company and musically array that is everything from roots, rock 'n' roll to savage rockabilly. A world-class band not to be missed.
Zero Point Force Anyone who's met drummer extraordinare Adam Loveday Edwards will know he has been involved in some great bands including the very sexy Concrete Blonde (grrr) -and Zero Point Force is no exception. Do not miss what is billed to be rockin' funk jazz band of the first order!
